Boaters can begin selecting slips for the 2024 season on February 1, 2024. The application process is 2 steps.
Step 1: Boaters should select and pay for the appropriately sized slip according to overall length of their vessel. Once the conditional slip reservation is made, boaters will receive a confirmation email from Reserve America with a link to Step 2.
Step 2: Click the link in your confirmation email to complete the electronic Slip License Agreement via DocuSign. You will need to upload a copy of your boat registration, proof of adequate Marine Protection and Indemnity insurance*, and a boating safety certificate, if appropriate (based on age of boater).
* During the term of this license, Licensee must hold a policy of marine protection and indemnity insurance for the licensed boat covering bodily injury, damage to property other than the boat itself, and oil spills with a minimum liability limit of $300,000.
Please Be Advised! Boaters will need to complete all parts of the application process within 10 days of making the initial reservation. If the slip agreement, insurance, and registration information are not complete within 10 days, the initial reservation will be voided and refunded, and the selected slip will be placed back online for reservation by the public.

Overview
This park is one of the largest inland marinas in New York State. In addition to providing excellent boating facilities, this park offers wonderful opportunities for picnicking, bird watching or just taking a stroll along the Cayuga Lake shoreline.
Natural Features:
During the past million years, giant sheets of ice, or glaciers, covered New York State several times, dramatically transforming the land in its path. In this region, the most recent glacier moved through shallow river valleys leaving in their place deep troughs with steep sides. When the glacier receded north about 10,000 years ago, water filled these new troughs creating the 11 Finger Lakes including Cayuga Lake. At 38.1 miles in length and 435 feet in depth at its deepest spot, Cayuga Lake is one of the largest Finger Lakes.
Following the last Ice Age, streams eroded gorges in the steep surrounding hillsides and deposited sediments in the southern end of the lake creating a great marsh. Over the years, the marsh was filled to create land for the City of Ithaca.
