Description
Located on the northern end of Lake George, Rogers Rock is a very popular family campground. Campers enjoy swimming, bicycling, fishing, boating, and hiking at this recreation facility. There are two group camping areas, which are very popular with families and groups of friends. The park is located just 6 miles south of Ticonderoga, which has many interesting historical sites and educational opportunities.
Geography:
Rogers Rock Campground is located on the west shore in the northern part of Lake George. 32-mile-long Lake George covers an area of approximately 28,200 acres, with a maximum depth of 190 feet. The lake is 3 miles across at its widest point.
Recreation:
Boating, fishing, hiking, and picnicking are campers' favorite activities here.
Facilities:
Rogers Rock offers both individual and group camping facilities. The two areas for group camping accommodate 35-60 people. A picnic area with tables, fireplaces, and pavilions; restrooms with showers; a trailer dump station; a boat launch; mooring buoys; a recycling center; a boat pump-out station; a sand beach; a bathhouse; a guarded swimming area; and pay telephones are almost all handicapped-accessible.

The nearby villages of Hague and Ticonderoga offer restaurants, shops, and golf.

From the Northway (I-87): Take Exit 24, County Route 11 to Route 9N. Turn left (north) on Rte 9N to the Village of Hague. The campground is on the right, 3 miles north of Hague. From Lake George Village: Take Route 9N North to Hague. Continue 3 miles, and the campground is on the right.
