Robert H. Treman State Park is an area of wild beauty, with the rugged gorge called Enfield Glen as its scenic highlight. Winding trails follow the gorge past 12 waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls, to where visitors can see a mile-and-a-half down the wooded gorge as it winds its way to the lower park. Enjoy nine miles of hiking trails, or swim in a stream-fed pool beneath a waterfall. The outdoor recreation here is spectacular.
Robert H. Treman State Park is located in Tompkins County, along State Route 327.
Considered a flagship facility, summer visitors will enjoy lounging at the beach. Fishing, hiking, and hunting may be enjoyed into the fall and in the spring. The park offers recreation programs for visitors, and scenic views, including views of the park's waterfalls, may be experienced year-round.
All of the park's facilities, and most of the park's activities, are handicapped-accessible. The park has a beach, cabins, campsites, dumping stations, picnic tables and pavilions, scenic views, and restrooms with showers.
Nearby state parks include Allen H. Treman State Marine Park, Buttermilk Falls State Park, Sampson State Park, Taughannock Falls State Park, Newtwon Battlefield Reservation and Watkins Glen State Park.
